A year has past...

Well, it's been a year since my inception of this blog. What? A whole year? I guess time flies when you are having fun. It seems that in the past twelve months lot's of changes have occurred to the people around me but not much for me.

I'm still working as the IT Manager for the IBLF (head of IT, yay!) and loving watching my daughter grow up. In that year we have seen technologies grow and die (Twitter and 35mm film, respectively), a new president setting precedence (excuse the pun, I couldn't resist). I have a new CEO and have seen the IBLF move slowly towards a shift in ideas. I have moved around in our offices and have got closer to my eldest sister once more (Woo Hoo!)

I have been remiss in posting Blog entries, mostly because I don't believe I have much to say, but I will try to make more of an effort in the future.

First Post!!!

Wow, I've been working IT for longer than I care to remember and have only just decided to take a dip into the pool of Blogging. I think that says more about my ability to communicate than an innate fear of technology.

I am a man of few words, particularly in the written form but just wanted to see if there was anything I have to say to the world that you might find interesting. To be honest, I doubt it.

I work for an International Charity based in London, we do some great work but we are always looking for new ways to communicate with our audience. This blog is as much to do with moving this forward as it is improving my writing ability.

Let me know what you think through the normal channels.
